Cyberload Problems
![]() Cyberload problems. There are LOTS of different things that can happen to make a Cyberload go wrong. First, here are the instructions for a Cyberload. Download Cyberload at cybiko.com in the "download games" section. After you get it, turn your Cybiko OFF and hook it up to the computer using a COM port on the back, preferably COM 1. Then, turn your Cybiko ON and wait for it to boot up. After it's done booting up and it's at the Main Menu, start Cyberload. It should recognize that the Cybiko is hooked up and on and will run a few things updating the information on the Cybiko. After that, there should be two open columns, on the right it will have all of cybiko.com's games and apps, and on the left it will have the current games and apps you have on your Cybiko. To dowload a game or app, right click what game you want in the left column and then click download. That will bring it over. Now, here are a few problems that Cyberload often has.
![]() I had this problem the first day I had my Cybiko, and it took me a day and a halp to figure it out. If you are using the same COM port as a Palm Hotsync is, your Cyberload WILL NOT work even when you unplug the Hotsync cable. The reason is, the Hotsync software internally locks up that COM port. The only way to fix this is pretty simple. Everytime you want to run Cyberload, control/alt/delete "Hotsync" and then run Cyberload. That will internally open up the COM port then all you have to do is unplug the Hotsync cable and put in your Cybiko cable. I was REALLY glad when I figured out how to do this, but I still have to set everything back up for my dad's Palm Pilot when I'm done, which is a major pain.
![]() Usually, just make sure that you are connected to the internet and that your Cybiko is ON before you start up Cyberload and it will work. If the right side of your Cyberload screen is gray and you can't see the things you already have, but on the left it shows the 250+ games and apps you can get, restart or turn off then on your Cybiko and it should fix. If you still have problems, email me or ask for help on AIM using my screen name, Cloud 451.
