Hallows Eve

Hallows Eve is like Lost In Labyrinth, but it takes place in the vault of a castle and you try to banish as many ghouls as possible. The game is very fun and an excellent all around game. There are 5 different objects you can pick up and five different ghouls. This is a game I would recommend to anyone that owns a Cybiko and I will tell you why below. When you win you will see the word, you win and you will get two numbers, which is your special code. In this next section I will discuss the in game graphics, which is not an important, but a necessary step into making a great video game.

I will start this of by saying Hallows Eve is a first person shooter and a very good one at that. Hallows Eve looks exactly like Lost in Labyrinth, but with ghouls. Hallows Eve looks very good and the enemies are very well animated. The weapons you have look good, as well as the doors and walls. Hallows Eve had a lot of time put in to it and I think it shows in the graphics. Next, I will discuss the most important part in a game, gameplay.

Hallows Eve plays great. The controls feel very fluid and the game rumbles at the right time and you turn right when you tell the game to. In Hallows Eve you can shoot, move and that’s it. A very important control Hallows Eve does have is a strafe feature, which allows you to move left and right out of your enemies attack. This button puts Hallows Eve into an elite group of Cybiko games with the option of actually beating the game instead of winning out of luck. Another great option in Hallows Eve is the spook meter on the top of the screen, which the longer you stand next to a ghoul the more scared you get and eventually you die and the game is over. I wish the game had a jump feature so you could move out of the way when your enemy attacks, but other than that the gameplay is perfect. Now, I will talk about the fun factor.

Hallows Eve is very fun. It is cool seeing animated ghouls attacking you and for me it never got old. A jump feature would have increased the fun factor, but with the features and options the game has it is very gratifying on its own. Hallows Eve is one of the few games for Cybiko that has a lot of cool and necessary options. You can switch between weapons, save the game, load the game, start a new game and of course, exit. The next section will discuss the single and multi player.

The game has an excellent single player and an even better multi player. The way Hallows Eve plays and looks is excellent and Cybiko put Hallows Eve together well. It is a very well presented game and Cybiko disserves congratulations for making this great game. The multi player mode is very fun and makes the levels even larger. Playing with a friend is great. Put him in the other room and play a game wirelessly and it will keep you entertained for many hours. Now I will sum the game up and give my overall score on this great game.

Hallows Eve is an amazing achievement for a handheld first person shooter and disserves its rightful place in the upper echelon of Cybiko games. This game disserves a download and is a game that you can buy a Cybiko for. The game is fun and will keep you entertained for hours to come.
