PacMan

Pac Man is another game not developed by Cybiko and works for CySDK, not Cyberload. This is a good game, but in my opinion, fails to reach the upper echelon of Cybiko games.

The graphics in Pac Man are the worst in any of the classics that were re made for Cybiko. The reason they are the worst is because they are worse than the original. The reason they are worse is that Pac Man doesn't use the full screen and the ghosts and Pac Man are animated badly and way too small. The person that developed this tried his hardest, but failed to reach the level that Asteroids did. Next we will talk about the gameplay.

The gameplay is the best part of Pac Man. The gameplay in Pac Man is exactly like it always has and plays great. The only problem I have is it takes a while for Pac Man to respond to your commands; when I pressed down it took about three tries for Pac Man to finally go the way I told him. The gameplay is the best part of the game, but that isn't saying much. The next section is usually options, but next I will go to the fun factor.

This game is fun! Pac Man is a fun and addictive game that will keep you playing for hours, but a game that is not without its share of problems. I had a lot of fun with this game, but the screen always bothered me for one simple reason. You have to hold the game really close to you, because the game only used half of the Cybiko screen, which isn't large to begin with. This game is fun, but still has its fair share of problems, not to say that it isn't good. Now I will discuss the single-player.

This game is as enjoyable in single player as it always has been. As I stated in Asteroids if you didn't enjoy the original, you won't enjoy this, but I did. I found the single player fun, but with a few problems. I thought this game stood the test of time, but hasn't changed as much as some other classics. I have never understood why Pac Man has never gotten a graphical facelift, but I guess Pac Man isn't about the graphics, it's about enjoying the game for what it is. The conclusion is next.

This game was fun, but I liked Asteroids a lot better. Asteroids had no a lot less problems and had better graphics. I hate to rant on Pac Man, but it isn't perfect and you need to know that. It deserves a download since all Cybiko games are free, but I don't think you will keep it on for longer than say a week.
