All across the web, Cybiko sites are creating their own "worm lights". Even Cybiko Domain has one (actually two), one created by myself, and one by Mike. Yes, these wormlights do serve their purpose, but they are usually bulky, and don't fit well with the case. Most of the wormlights run off of their own battery source (mine for example runs off two AA batteries). If this is the case, there is a large battery pack you have to strap onto the Cybiko one way or another, and this presents yet another problem. If the Wormlight doesn't run on your own battery pack, it runs on the Cybiko's, which can drain the Cybiko's power, cause a messy leak, potentially burn you (from battery acids), and even ruin your Cybiko's batteries! With these problems, the home-made Cybiko worm lights almost are more of a hassle than they're worth, and that's without even considering the circuitry work involved. When you look at all of the problems that could occur, it breaks it down to the fact that there will not be a good Cybiko lighting system until Cybiko Inc. comes out with one themselves. Sure, the internal light is a possibility for the Cybiko, but it is hard to make for someone who is un-experienced with circuitry and it also breaks your Cybiko's warrenty. There are lots of possibilities on how Cybiko Inc. will make their own light, but CybikoDomain has gotten confirmation that Cybiko Inc. will be coming out with there own worm light in the near future, so be on the lookout!
